Wedding Photography Services Contract

Entire Agreement

This agreement contains the entire understanding between Alan Rampton Photography/Leicester Wedding and the above named bride and groom. It supersedes all prior and simultaneous agreements between the parties in both verbal and written communication. The only way to add or change this agreement is to do so in writing, signed by all the parties. If the parties wish to waive or alter one provision of this agreement, that does not mean that any other provision is also waived.

Copyright

Full payment for services rendered determines the release of the USB/Images of the wedding to the client. Upon full payment, the USB and Images become the property of the client for their personal use and for the purpose of reproduction of photos for distribution to relatives and friends. Images may be used on personal websites and social media. An acknowledgement to the photographer is requested and appreciated. The Copyright of all images remains with Alan Rampton Photography/Leicester Wedding. The client must obtain written permission from, and compensate, Alan Rampton Photography/Leicester Wedding prior to an event where the client, the client's friends or relatives publish or sell the photographs for profit.

Additional Time

It is not uncommon for weddings to go on longer than planned. The photographer is flexible, and will allow an additional one hour for a late-running wedding. However, additional overtime fees are £50/hour. The client is thereof notified shoots commences at the scheduled start time and ends at the agreed time. If the event goes longer and the bride wishes an extension past one hour, a verbal acknowledgement is sufficient. Should the ceremony start late due to any reason whatsoever, Alan Rampton Photography will not be held liable for any photographs not taken.

Good Imagery

In order to ensure we get good pictures, we may do several shots of the same thing using different cameras, poses and lighting. We cannot guarantee a certain number of photos, however it is expected we take between 1000 and 3000 photos on an all-day coverage wedding. We are providing a large selection of the best photos, this is approximately 200 Images. Images that do not meet the required standard will not be released. We are providing a mixture of colour, black and white or various effects. We will include general touch up of images, if required such as removing blemishes or similar. We can change the photos from black and white back to colour and the other way around, within reasonable requests at no extra charge, unless the work required will involve long hours. Additional fees may apply after both parties' agreement, also for digital manipulation of photos (changing parts of a photo to certain special requests). The RAW images will not be released.

House Rules

The photographer is limited by the guidelines of the ceremony official or the reception site management. Negotiations with the ceremony official will moderation of guidelines is the client's responsibility. Alan Rampton Photography will offer technical recommendations only. We will do our best to accommodate any request within reasonable terms, and we will also make suggestions and provide direction if necessary.

Limits of Liability

It is further understood that in the unlikely event the photographer is injured or becomes too ill to photograph the event. If the situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event package.

Deposit & Fees

A deposit secures the photographer's services for the client's specified wedding date. In the event of the client's cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable. If Alan Rampton Photography/Leicester Wedding is cancelling the event due to unexpected critical reasons, the full amount will be refunded. Full payment for the services of Alan Rampton Photography/Leicester Wedding is due 7 days before the wedding day unless other agreements have been made.
